What type of barbed fittings should I get? Like type or steel, what am I not suppose to use?

The 80e is running very hot so I have to get it in today

Did you buy the cooler used? The new cooler comes with the barbed fittings that screw right into it. If you're referring to a fitting that screws into the radiator, there are numerous threads in the GM Drivetrain and Suspension section and I know that one of them has the thread size for the fitting into the radiator. There's a thread there right now that is gathering info to make everything that you need to know about a trucool 40k a sticky
