Default transfer case selector?

im buying a 2000 silverado and the transfer case selector is on the floor and not a push button. was just wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to change it to a push button one?

Thanks, Nick

anything is possible. I think you need to get the automatic Tcase though. The manual version won't respond because it doesn't have any inputs for the electronic controls. NVG 243 i believe is the auto-trac case you want. The truck should already be wired for it, I think they all came with the same harness, just not the same parts.

Someone else will chime in that knows for sure.
