Too bad about the trans. My trans lasted about 1 week with the procharger on. Started shifting late into 2nd at light throttle, wouldnt up shift at all past 1/2 throttle. I had a UPD on mine, and it was fine for a while until I removed it. Who knows when I will see my truck again, they said they are backed up.
G35x is a nice car BTW. I like them myself.

here's what I found out today:

When the guy I know installed the 3" body lift, he didnt check the transmission lines. Turns out one of the lines was rubbing on one of the pulleys and the rubbing eventually burned a hole in one of the lines.
Hole in the line = no fluid getting to the tranny = burn tranny.

They said I need a whole new transmission, but it shifts from 1-2 fine, just not 2-3. I can keep the truck in "2" and it drive fine. Since the bodylift was of my doing, they will not warranty the transmission. New transmission and all that stuff = $2700

So I was talking to the salesman who sold me the truck and he told me to go buy a new transmission line, have it replaced by someone, then take it to another dealership. That way there is nothing evident to have caused the transmission to go. Pretty smart, eh? Right now the truck is at a lil shop around the corner getting the new line installed. Once that is in, on Monday I'm going to try another dealership.

If I ever do end up gettin another truck, no more modding.

Man that sucks, you'd never think a body lift could burn up a transmission Hope the other dealership can fix it....I guess they dont keep records like ford does - warranty void at one dealership=all dealerships, at least with the SVT's

good luck man - G35=good choice

Illnali, Well I Hope They Do Fix It.... But Just In Case They Dont Pm Me And I Know A Friend That Works At A Dealership Here In The Houston Area And I Am Pretty Sure He'll Hook You Up,, Just Need To Talk To Him And He'll Probably Still Do It Under Warranty And You Can Just Tip Him..... My Buddies Transmission Went Out @ 40k And He Just Bullshit On The Mileage When He Records It And Got It Done, I Think He Just Charged Him Around $200-$300... Which Is Way Better Than The 2k+!!! The Problem Is I Wont Come Back To Work Until Weds... So I Wouldnt Be Able To Check My Pm's Early During The Week.... But I Hope They Do Fix It Next Time You Fix It...

That is what we all say. Look at my wife's truck. All I was going to to it was put a UPD intake.
