Default Tranny/Engine won't seperate!

Been trying for a couple hours to get the engine out and it won't seperate from the tranny. I wonder if those 2 tabs aren't corroded in there or something.

Any tips or tricks? (or treats)

Maybe get a bigger pry bar?

How many bolts did you remove? And did you remove the torque converter bolts?

I know those are simple stupid questions, but it's easy to skip a step.

Yeah I triple checked the bolts. The guys at ls1truck say to spray WD in the dowel pin holes and let it soak overnite so I'll go try that out.

Any luck? Mine was stuck pretty good and I had to use a decent size pry bar to wedge it apart.

I'm guessing you forgot a bolt somewhere(even though you said you checked). It's easier to forget one than you think.

How many bolts have you removed? There should be 6 studs and 1 bolt that secures the eng/trans, and then the 3 tc/flexplate bolts.

If you have an air hammer to hit the alignment pins from the engine side or you could use a regular hammer and a punch
