Default Trailblazer SS cluster in Silverado?

Does anyone know if it will fit/work in a 2006 Silverado? The shape of the cluster and mounting points look pretty darn similar...But I wouldn't have a clue what's involved. I'm just digging the 8k tach and 140mph speedo.

I think the data bus networks on the LS2 vehicles are different than those on the GENIII vehicles. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work.
