Are you still on stock plug wires, Parish?

My stock wires were 800ohms. MSD's are abut 25ohms or so.

You might look into this to see if it will work, not sure:
MSD It does say distributorless and 8 channel.

Also, you might look into Beru Silverstone plugs. Fairly expensive. They have a 99.9% pure sterling silver electrode and supposed to have 137% more spark power. They can be found numerous places. Here is one: Silverstone plugs . The Harley F-150, blown version, guys have had pretty good luck using them, although your setup is a little different. Maybe go to their site and ask how they like them. They use the S1K, or S2K.

You can check them with a multimeter if you know the specs.

i added msd wires and they didn't help.

i dont think it is a coil. if i let it develop it will get so bad it will completly stop accelerating, that would indicate more than one cylinder to me.

it seems to me that since it gets worse after a few miles there is a good chance it has something to do with deposits on the plug. maybe the fuel i am using. i could try the iridims or some other fancy plug.

i think i have tried enugh things it is about time to bring in the big help. maybe kurt can help me.

Does it go away every time you change to some new plugs?

i am not sure. sometimes i swap the plugs and do some street stuff with no big races(high boost, cut out open, nitrous full run....) then later push it and it is missing still. next time i am going to take a set of plugs to the track i think. make a run and see if it is missing. swap the plugs and run again. then see how long it takes to start misssing. it is hard to look at these plugs since the porcelin is flush with the end of the plug. i think i may be geting something called "lead fouling" deposts colect on the plug and then on a hard run the melt into the ceramic and create an alternate path. this is just a guess i really dont know anything about it.
