Well the trip was almost to Canada. We got to the border and my wife didnt have an ID, so we turned around and headed home. Its 294 miles round trip, almost a third of which is through small towns. And i got 19.6 MPG!!!

When the truck was stock with 3.73's it only got 18.5 max. That was all I-10 without stoping too. Im pretty stoked.

Why doesnt everyone post up there stock and modded milage.

 

Stock, I made 21.7 MPG on one full highway roadtrip...
Modified, the best I have gotton occured today, while driving back to school; I got 18.7. Heavy wheels (20's) and tall tires (31.6 inches) are to blame for this.

 

well my truck never had time for a road trip to see gas milage lol but i did take a trip with the new suburban and avg. mpg was 18 with the 3.73 gears

glad to see the improvment with mods
