Cool

I have a TruXedo Lo-Profile cover and it is very good. It is good quality, rolls up easily, not too heavy, fits between the rails and if your tail gate locks it locks. It is not cheap though.

You looking for a hard or soft tonneau? I've seen hard covers color matched for as little as 600 and some over 1000. Most of the softs will run you just over $200. I have an Extang Tuff Tonneau. I picked it up for 229 shipped, and it doesnt have snaps like most of the soft tonneaus. It actually has a lip that slips into the frame. Been on my truck for over 3 years now with no problems.

I just ordered a Fold a Cover. It is a foldable hard cover. I will let you know how I like it. I looked at a bunch of different covers, and liked the Fold a Cover the best.

It has a weatherproof design, but is easily removed and stored. I like to put the dirt bike and four wheeler in the back of the truck occasionally, so that was important.

I got it for 560 shipped. I didn't think that was too bad.

Later,

Mike

Most of the soft roll tops boast that you can stand on them with no problems. I have an Agricover Lorado that was given to me. At work when the vendors came in they let us stand on the demo to see how it stood up. I HAVE to have a soft cover. I cant be removing a fiberglass cover to haul my quad and such.

Can't comment on soft covers, but for hard covers I would look at ******** x2000 or the snuglid snugtop. Both are great covers that come painted to match and are fairly easy to install. Both are also fairly low profile and aren't bulky looking like some others. Both also have no drill installation and carpeted undersides. I have a x2000 on mine and love it. They say to remove it you only have to undo 2 thumb screws and lift it off, never had a need to so I have never done it. Only drawback to either cover is that they are over $1000, I think I paid $1295 for mine, but IMO it was worth it.

I have an extang full-tilt soft cover. I love it. If I was to buy one now I'd get the extang trifold. They didn't have it out when I bought mine. You won't have to worry about the snow.

Mine has been through 2 winters in Massachusetts and still no problems, however I do have the Tuff tonneau and its rated for I think 1000 lbs of weight.

BTW Element 80 has a tonneau for sale in the parts classifieds.
