Default Tire/wheel question...

I've got 265/75r/16's on my Silverado. I'm needing new tires but am considering wheel/tires packages if I can get them for a decent price.

Can someone please tell me if I go to a taller wheel, what tire size I should pair it with to maintain the stock tire height?

For example, if I get 18" rims, what size tires would I need? Or 20"? I don't want to go any larger than 20".

If anyone could help I'd really, really appreciate it.

Thanks...

Something in the stock range for 17's would be 265/70's, for 18's it'd be like a 285/60 - a little wider but about the same diameter. For 20's it'd be like a 285/50.

Go to this link:

Scroll down to see 17", 18", and 20" tires that match your current tires. Since you want tires close to your current 16" tires, I would look at everything in green.

True, the SSS does come with that size but its almost a 32" tire. 285/50's are like 31.2" tall which is about the same as the 265/75 16.
