That's kinda what I figured but since I've had no experience with TIG welding I would still like to be shown by someone how to do it bfore I go and try it.....

Commisioned is a good thing, Will get my Bach. sat and that is the route I hope to take. Hey if you are going to school why not something fun, right. I can weld but I would love to take a welding class, just cant find any around me.

just got back....whew!.....and have a nice welding tan on my arms

did another pad of beads , next week we step up to filler metal....woohoo

welded on the 255 Lincoln tonight in constant HF and HF startup only......good stuff!

yeah, you're like what the hell's up with this damn thing, and then oh chit. it'll be helium time when you get to the thicker (.250") aluminum.


just got back....whew!.....and have a nice welding tan on my arms
pull them sleeves up and get the farmers tan.

he said if we use helium it will only be about 25%Helium/75%Argon. The instructor laid down the nicest fillet weld I've ever seen, I guess in areospace their work tends to be extra precise
