Judging from posts in this thread, it looks like we already have close to 15 people planning on going. That's a real good sign. I hope to have a crap load of trucks running there. I need all the info I can get. I'm rounding up as many local guys as I can. I remember a post one time about the fbody guys hating to see the trucks there. Looks like we might really **** them off this time.lol

I won't say what I really think, but maybe we can run them off. They are just mad cause we're having a good time and some of them would actually LOOSE to a truck heads up style racing.

You're right, maybe we can take them with numbers! I really think we will be the more popular with the crowd. Nothing like seeing some fast trucks, then inviting everyone over for a little tailgating. Let's see the car guys do that.

So, is the race actually on a Saturday? What's going on that Friday before?

I think alot of guys are going Friday to test and tune. I'm heading up there on Friday to maybe get some track time in to see some times before the truck bracket race.

The friday before will most probably be a trophy bracket race. If they plan the shootout the same as last time, saturday will be time trials all day, and sunday we'll have two time trials and begin eliminations.

15 people coming from out of state will be a great turn out. They will have a lot of locals also. I kind of like the idea of them getting mad. If they wanna be that selfish to believe our trucks can't ''hang'' and aren't worth racing, let them. Anyone talk to parish? Let him make one pass and a 11-12 second f-body will be nothing to the crowd.

You can bet there will be at least one 10 sec truck there.

well before you go inviting people over for some tailgating fun, remember most of us have broke *** tailgate straps. it'll be more like sit your *** on the ground fun

Kenny have you talked to Curt lately? what is his progress?

I wish i could say we will outnumber the cars but that just isn't gonna happen. there will be a ton of cars there. however, it would be nice to fill up the two staging lanes they give us this year. instead of being a quarter full.
