If you notice ... when I first showed the guys that thread, I stressed keeping it civil so it didn't run into a pissing match like it did. Yes .. I know I was the main one, but oh well, life goes on. I actually like some of the guys over there. Some are pretty kewl. Some however, need a wake up call. The one that was telling me there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IN HELL that I could have taken him would have **** a brick when I crossed the traps as he was coming out of the 1/8 mile traps. Those are the guys I would love to line up against. I don't know if you know or not, but I have the parts to back up what I'm claiming, some of the guys have seen me run on here too. The last time I was running though I had a fat *** vacuum leak, and it was causing me to be incredibly inconsistant, .8 seconds differences almost. Anyways ... I don't think any of us mind at all you coming by to just poke around. I'll still be over there on the Dodge boards lurking around trying to keep a couple of them straight.

They aren't the fastest .... there are several guys on here beating the lightly midded ones. More beating the stock ones.

find something faster than a sc harley to boast about.
granted there are some that are pretty quick but the majority of them like every one else , are slow.

Seriously ... I wasn't trying to burst your bubble ....

I barely beat one when I had the fat vacuum leak running pig rich ... I was running so rich that the injectors were being maxxed out at the top of a gear, but now spinning 200 rps higher, they still have roughly 20% injector left. Just in case that doesn't make sense, and I'm not sure it does to me .... that's PIG *** RICH!!!

Haha, thats a tad rich , as i posted on DTW, i think the biggest disadvantage for dodge is the weight difference, it would add up to a .4-.5 advantage on a stock vs stock for the chevy. considering the Hemis are running pretty much identical times as the chevys at the track, id say they are doin something right.

i once offered to add weight to my truck so we could be even but no one would take that offer. the main focus was on i have mods and they don't. even though, they had exhaust and cai. <---- those weren't considered mods... so what to do.

I agree! The biggest thing I've noticed on my Ram vs my old Silverado, is it's slower off the line. I'm know it's the 400 lbs or so of extra weight and the damn big tires Dodge put on my 4x2 truck. Why in the hell would they put a 33" tall tire (275/60R20) on a 4x2 truck? My 4x2 silverado came with 30" tall (255/70R16) tires. I know trying to turn these big *** tires is really hurting me and the extra weight doesn't help either. To many of the Hemi owners simply look at the 345 hp vs 295 hp (for 04's) and think, I'm going to win. The 400 lbs of more weight just killed 40 hp and the 3" taller tires just put them in the hole, they don't seem to realize that. Like I said before guys, I'd show up but it's a little far. I've never trash talked, win or lose, racing is fun to me.

I have seen you take weight off.
I don't see where the Dodges are any heavier. I parked next to one and they are the same size.Same door size on 4-dr as my ext cab, same length, they are taller if they're on twentys. My truck weighs 5200# at the track. I'll bet they are within 200#.The only Hemi I've seen in the 14's was a small tired reg cab with a driver/mechanic that wasn't very big. I doubt if he and the ram weighed over 4300#.
