Default ? for those with deleted egr

I finally got an egr plate made to block off the egr and i wanted to get the egr itself out of there so as im taking it off i realize that part of it is connected to the intake manifold. When I take the hose off from the manifold theres a gaping hole... if i want to take the egr off, should i just leave that hose.. looks like that hose doesnt have any function at all... i just dont want a gaping hole in the side of the intake, lol. Or a random hose with no purpose for that matter...

any input would help, thanks!

Thunderracing has the blockoff plates and you will need to turn off the SES light with some custom programing.

sorry, i didnt specify everything.

I already deleted egr with a custom tune. I have a block off plate and its installed. But, what i am asking is, the egr unit itself, there are two hoses, the one the leads to the headers and the one that leads to the intake manifold...im taking the whole unit out and the hoses come with it... do i just cut the intake manifold hose short and not worry about it.. or do i need some type of plate or plug for the intake manifold hole?

you can do two things, well three actually, buy a intake block off plate at the dealership (which most will look at you funny and not be able to find it on the computer), cut and crimp the hose, or remove the hose's and cut the hose that the plate is on, remove the plate off the cut hose and install a large washer (that will fit) into the plate and use something like jb weld/stick to secure and seal the washer to it. i have my nitrous nozzle in this set up along with slowprocess and i now it will work and last. also, it's cheap as hell.

a freeze plug works good for the intake manifold. paint it black and you'll never notice it...

Does anyone make a block off plate for the secondary air injection system pipe that enters the exhaust manifold.
