Been wanting one of the newer D-maxes for a while, but just can't seem to justify the price considering how often I'd probably drive it.

Having said that... I saw a lifted 98 Silverado 4x4 the other day. Overall it looks pretty clean. Some surface rust throughout the undercarriage. Looks to be a 6 or 9" lift. Not real crazy about the lift kit as I'm going to be hauling stuff in the bed and would rather not lift stuff that high .

I'm thinking about picking it up and was wondering what common problems should I be on the lookout for?

BTW, it has 120K miles, and the motor is supposed to be a 5.7 with auto tranny.
Finally, KBB and NADA are showing private party sale at around $7K, is this pretty accurate?
