Default Thinking about selling my truck..

Ok guys.. need some advice here.. Ive got a 99 silverado ecsb just turned over 70k miles.. The truck runs fine and is in excellent shape, however i am tired of being slow.. I am thinking about selling my truck and buying me an 05 Silverado Regular Cab.. 5.3 of course.. My friends are telling me that i will hate myself for doing it but i really believe that is the way i want to go.. Any of you guys regret getting your regular cabs..

depends how u like to drive, if u like to sit up or lean way back. also depends if u use the backseat alot. if ur the guy thats always driving ur freinds around u might not like it, and they definently wont haha. but as for the speed itll be a big difference... my freinds got a 99extcab and the things a dog compared to newer models. but my vote goes to the new truck... cuz i think the speed and the fact of having a new vehical will overcome it all

never had a problem with my scrb so far.. i like u love performance so i always find a way to make things work.. plus the scrb hauls *** and feels a lil more sporty due to no back seat and not being as long.. my 2 cents

good points, i would love to have a new truck i guess i'm jelous because i cant afford one. i take back a old statement. get a new one. i know would if i could afford it. i like the new interior, my dad has a 03 2500hd and its sweet fully loaded like my 2000 and his is just so much better. i can only imagine what an 05 would be like

The money you lose on your trade in/sale to buy a new truck could be used for mods which will make your ECSB faster than the RCSB will be unless you mod it too.

how bout, rebuild that into a 408, and drop that in problem sovled...ur 70k miles drops to 0 and u can spank the 05s. i think youll regret losing the excab, you dont know how great it is until u dont have it anymore.
