Default Thanks Everyone!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this form for all the good info. I have been lercking around this place for about 6 or 8 months just reading old threads. There has never been a question I've had that that through a little searching I couldn't find the anwser too.

I'm one of the only ls1 pickups that go's to the strip here in southern oregon so finding anyone that new anything about performance has been pretty hard. And anyone that is at the strip with a pickup is either driving something pretty old with a big block or a lighting. I tried talking to the Lighting guy's but a least around here they seemed like a bunch of ******. And never offer any kind of addvise on a computer controled truck. They all acted like there stock lightings were the badest things on the earth. Which they are pretty quick for a production truck but for those guy's to look at my truck and turn there noises up was pretty uncool well it lit a fire under me to blow there doors off. So a radix later I was running door to door with them. With a no traction off the line. There's still one of the lightings here that I haven't pick off yet. But I think between the pulley, nelson tune, torque converter and the slicks and I should be there.

I just finished up a 4l80 swap and I went pretty flawlessly. And this I why I'm posting. If it wasn't for you guy's I wouldn't have even know it was possible. And would have most likely just had the 60 rebuilt. Which for me would have been pointless with the way I drive. It took me 2500 miles with the Radix to toast the 60. And from what I've seen around here a 4l60 doesn't really stand a chance no matter who builds it.

Anyhow THANKS, THANK YOU, YOU GUY"S ARE THE ****!!!!

Welcome Noob, sounds like a beast you have there. Do you have a cam or anything to go along with the Radix?

The only problem I ran into was getting the longer flexplate bolts. I searched and searched the wrecking yards but ended up getting raped by the dealership. To anyone doing the swap I suggest ordering those frist so you don't end up paying crazy over night shipping fees. If your anything like me I thought getting some bolts would be a piece of cake so I had the whole truck apart before I worried about it.

Beast... maybe around southern Oregon but compared to the trucks on here it's a hay hauler. No cam. Would love to have a cam and headers but there so expensive. I've bought alot of cams and headers in my life and never paid half as much as the one cost for these trucks. And I my experance with superchargers and turbo's cams and headers are a must to really get all the performance. But my credit cards are all full now so its back to saving up my lunch money again.
