Found on ebay GM factory prepainted tailgate handles in various different colors( specifically sport red metallic), but they only say they fit 05-06. But at the same time they have some other handles that say 99-06. Is there a physical difference between years on the tailgate handles? Will an 06 fit an 04?
Trying to verify before ordering them.

 

As far as I know, the handles fit all years, 99-06. Maybe its a different shade of red compared to what you have so thats why it does not work on the 04s.
