Default swapping to ls6 intake with 3600 stall

Hey guys ive been wanting to clean up under my hood for awhile now. Im thinking about swapping to a ls6 intake with some billet fuel rails, some nice valve covers and doing some coil relocation. Id like to make it look like the pic i posted.

Now i know everyone on here discourages ls6 intake swaps because of the loss in torque, but if im using a yank 3600 and jumping up past the point where the truck manifold makes low end would i benefit from it?

All i've got to say is that Lance runs 12.4 N/A with a LS6 intake on a cam only 5.3. He obviously didn't loose much lowend at all with the LS6 intake.
