Default SuperChips has programmer for 03 hemi now.

For anyone who is interested or cares, I guess SuperChips has started shipping programmers for 03 Hemi Rams. Two DTW members have had their trucks at SuperChips being the guinnea pigs for the testing. The programmer is suppose to be good for 14 hp and 14 tq PEAK power and it had the highest gain at 3300 rpms with 21 hp and 34 tq. A programmer for the 04 will take longer, I guess the 03 has a 16 bit PCM and the 04's have a 32 bit? Maybe by then, some one will have a custom tune for my 04. Just letting you guys know, you may run into a tuned Hemi now if that means anything.

I was reading about that on DTW and was wondering how that turned out.

It's going to be interesting when more after market parts become available for the Hemi.

Gonna get one for mine in a couple months once the 2000 or so back orders are done with.

Some of the things it helps with is it leans out the fuel on the high end. If you shift manually it will go to 6000rpm's and the speed limiter is gone.

However I was told by having long tube headers like I do, it would run too lean and I would risk blowing up my engine. You guys got any idea's on how to make it run a little less lean, colder plugs, 180 stat, 92oct gas???
