i got a 5.3 with a afe dry intake kit and flowmaster 40 series and i am thinking of getting a superchip cortex. Good or bad idea? and what other parts would be good to get?

 

complete waste of time and money.to me a dyno tune is the only way to go.. other parts you can get a 6.0 or biuld that to a 370 or build it to a 408.. heads, cam, longtube headers, better exhaust, or a kb racing turbo kit, turbo kit, or a trick turbo kit, or nitrous, or a radix supercharger, 3k stall, built transmission, trans cooler, 4.10 gears, true trac..pick a few out of that list and you should be good..

just from seeing my buddy put one of those bullydogs in his gmc jimmy with the 4.3 i would never buy a stupid handheld
