Default Sunroof issues

Anyone have any problems with there sunroofs. Last week my sunroof would not close all the way it would get stuck in the vent position. Today I had it open and it stopped in the vent position. I took it into the dealership something broke (I do not recall what it was) they are shipping it next day so I should get it back tomorrow. Glad it happened at 1200 miles and not 36k

At least my rental vehicle is a 2006 Silverado CC LS none of the LT goodies but it was better then the alternative an Aveo.

Mine didn't come with one. Then again, it's less problems I have to worry about!

Well an update on my truck. The dealership called and said the warehouse they ordered it from up in Michigan showed 3 in-stock yesterday. This afternoon when the part did not arrive they checked and the part is on National Backorder and they do not know when they will be able to get one. The bad part is that sun roof is in the vent position so they cannot get it to close so I am with out the truck until they can get the part or GM or the dealership decides to take one out of a new truck on the lot

Ahh I love GM, why would you install a sunroof that cannot be closed manually??? Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, etc all make theirs with a crank lever in the vehicle or built in. Sorry to hear about your luck but I have to say, dealer service in FL sucks, everything is on "national" back order here. Something fishy to me. Good luck.

Sucks I decided to call around to a dozen Chevy Dealerships around the nation and all said the same thing backordered

Sure hope they come up with a solution soon I need my truck to trailer my Camaro to the F-body Gathering 10 in Atlanta next week.

I can see where your coming from, but they actually look pretty good with them.
Hey, your dealing with A/C, cruise control, automatic lights tilt steering, AM/ FM/ XM/ CD player, keyless entry, power windows and power locks right!? Your not so old fashion now, are you???
