street/strip wheel setup

Default street/strip wheel setup

looking into buying some wheels and tires soon and need a lil input on the rear rim as i dont want it sticking out past the quarter panel... the rims are 15x10 with a 4 inch backspacing and the tires are 275/60/15 anyone ever run something like this??? i just dont wanna buy some rear rims i cant or dont wanna use

Now someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've read. To run a 15x10 you need a 6-7" backspacing wheel if you have a stock length rear end. The 275 blowed out on the 10 should look great and be even with the bed side. I know a few of these guys are running Cragar Soft 8's, I believe they sell it in 6.5" backspacing which should be perfect.

They don't sell them with that backspace. You have to special order them. Mine should be here next week. I ordered the 342 series and it took them 5 weeks to get them made and shipped.
