Default stock torque converters

I dunno where to put this. Are the stick 4l60e converters good for anything? Can they be cut open and restalled like the i-6 ones can. I have several laying around that I would like to get rid of but I don't know what to do about them.

Sometimes trans shops will buy them as cores. Not really much money, but better than nothing and gets them out of your way.

They can be re-stalled but do to the size there limited on how much they will actually stall.

I looked into it but I believe they told me I would be lucky to get a 2500 rpm stall out of a reworked stock style converter. I believe I was given a window of 2200-2400 RPM.

I have a good circle d. Just wondering how I can get rid of them besides throwing them away.

See if a local rebuilder will give you core value for them. Then put that money into a converter you want.
