Depends what year. The 99 were the weakest due to different cam specs.

Reason Im asking, and I bet you guys will think this is helarious. I now own a Dodge, but in the past have owned GMCs, so I respect what they can do. I have got some people over on DTW swearing up and down, that its not just hard to believe, but IMPOSSIBLE for a stock GM truck to run anything faster than mid 15s. If you want a funny read, click here http://dtw.truckmoxie.com/forums/top...e_at_the_track , theres 5 pages, but the good stuff for yall is at the end...Im RAM04 there, bye the bye.

haha, bring it on. funny thing is, the actual reasoning for this post, is to try and get these retards on DTW to face the facts about how fast stock GMs are.

My 5.3 ran a 15.3 stock w/ a 3.42 peg leg and the additional weight of my 200lb lid. In the 1/8th, 130lbs extra weight slows me down nearly a half second...

Damn, there is that moxie word again in the URL to that link. Gah!

Ohh, anyway. I have not seen any RC/SB 5.3L trucks at my track so I cannot say first hand but seems alot of the people in this forum have seen and have run in the low low 15s or just barely break into the 14s stock.

I, on-the-other-hand, ran a 16.02 bone stock in my Ext.cab 4x4 with full weight.

For you Dodge guys my advice is to watch out for the regular cab short bed 5.3L guys AND the 6.0L HD trucks if they look like they are modded. My buddies truck whoops my *** everytime and he has almost the same mods I do and he is heavier. It's rediculous!

I couldn't get passed the 1st page. A couple of those guys are complete morons.

They don't understand the simple HP to weight ET thing. No way in hell is a truck rated at your HP level supposed to run 13s.

And a stock Mustang GT can't run high 13s bone stock at the track??

The Hemi's are putting out awesome times for such a heavy truck. I give it a big thumbs up! I'm just glad I'm goin turbo because I don't feel lik erunning into a smug Hemi owner and getting my *** handed to me with all these N/A mods on my truck.
