steering wheel button help
My 2006 Silverado has a driver information center. this DIC is controlled by two sets of buttons on my steering wheel. I need to replace one set of these buttons, but im not quite sure how to remove it from the steering wheel.
Im sure you guys know silverados, but just to clarify, here is my exact steering wheel:
The buttons I need to replace are on the lower left spoke of the steering wheel. Anyone know how to replace this?
Do I need to remove the airbag or does it pop out from the front somehow?
By the way, thanks in advance for help. I dont post much on here, but I lurk around a lot

The top two switches you can pry right out, grab the connector with needle nose and unplug and plug the new switch it. The bottom two pulls the wires tighter then a fiddle string just to get the switches out of the wheel far enough to even see the connectors. I actually broke the locking tab off one of the connectors doing this. To get it plugged back in I did have to remove the air bag but its so easy I don't see any reason not to. IIRC you take a straight o ring pick and push in on a pin inside the holes on either side of the air bag and it pops right out. Lay it on top of the steering wheel and you will be able to access a hole in the spokes of the steering wheel. I took my **** hook (awl) and was able to hook the switch connectors from the back side and support/guide it to the switch, plug them in and shove the switches back in the steering wheel. Took a matter of 5-10 minutes at best.
