Did the original starter do that? You said it (original) sometimes wouldn't start and the new one spins uncommanded. If it's a rebuilt one it might have an internal f/u .

Another satisfied customer of 12 Pack Tuning.

At first, they were stumped by some wiring issues, but after a 12 pack, the answers became clear, and now the truck is up and running again.

yep, it just took a little bit of time playing around until we had enough beer in us, then it all became clear

Once the tab was paid (12 pak) we Got er dun. Wait I paid for that beer Doh.

Make a new thread. Don't bump one that is 7 years old. Don't even bump 3 month old threads.

Seriously...

It was a wiring issue. But you need to diagnose yours yourself, not ask them what their problem was. You might have the same problem but your solution is probably very different.
