ss front clip questions

I don't think that it slides over like the Street Scene bumper covers, I believe that there's some sort of bracketry involved. Also I've seen pics of SS's with fog lights installed into the "brake vent" holes, but I believe that they were aftermarket fog lights. One thing to note, if you go with a factory SS bumper, you'll need to get the cladding down the side of the truck for it to look right, as the bumper is wider than the regular bumper. I've seen trucks with the factory SS bumper w/o the cladding and the bumper sticks out further than the sides of the truck, it looks kinda off. I'd recommend just getting a Street Scene bumper cover if you want to go the SS route, it's made to go with the truck without the cladding.

From what Ive seen the SS factory bumper looks as good as the street scene with or without cladding, but budhayes is right, you will need 6 brackets in total all from Gm. For the brackets, the cover and the air ducts exspect to way about 1000 bucks for it all, then you need paint, also most people just make a small extension bracket to move there factory fog lights back so they will fit behind the air duct aka brake vent holes

They look alot better than i thought they would with fogs in the brake ducts. may even look better if the fog was just slightly smoked to get rid of the shiny glare the lens gives off.
