Default ? for SS Conversions Owners

I should have spent the extra money when I bought my truck to get the SS package. (Kicking self in ***) I think I want to go ahead and convert the exterior of the truck to look just like the SS's. Where and how much did you find the OEM SS exterior parts for your truck at? Did you have to do all of it at once , or did you just work on the front, then sides, then rear? Any links or prices would be appreciated.

Thanks!

the body cladding can be hard to find for sale, but the bumpers are an easy add on. like lowrider said street sceene has the front bumpers and rears go up every once in a while on here and other sites. As far as the 6.0... sorry buddy but that's gonna take some $$$ but a few mods to yours and you can walk with a stock one.

i read somewhere that the bumpers on the SS are wider than our stock ones so they stick out a bit and look a little goofy. havent seen it in person just something i read.

I've seen SS bumpers on Z-71s and a regular Silverado... I think they are better than the stock ones. I like them.

They are a little wider to make up for the body cladding thickness.

My dealer called today. $10,000 not including paint or installation to convert the exterior to the SS, WTF? No tires or rims either. How could they possibly even charge people that? Needless to say I will do my own Conversion. I have seen kits that look exactly the same for 1/10th the price!

You just want the outward appearance or are you trying to go full leather, 6.0L, tranny, full out SS??

It adds up quickly...almost $900 for the OEM front and all the right brackets not saying you can't do it cheaper but some stuff (side cladding, SS spoiler) willl be dealer only parts and they WILL rape you.
