I am betting that terrorists are smart enough to realize they will probably be better off with a Democrat in the White House than with GW. Just look how Bill Clinton reacted to the terrorist bombings of US embassies and the bombing of the USS Cole. If you listened to the current Democratic frontrunner, Howard Dean, you will have heard him say he would wait for world approval, (read UN - where France, Germany, and Russia have the ability to styme our efforts), before making a move like GW did in Iraq.
My idea of a leader for my country is one that will act in the best interests of OUR country, not one that would defer to the whims and self serving needs of foreign countries that are resentful of the success and influence of the USA.
I keep hearing about the possibilities of a terrorist attack here in our country. I would not be surprised if we DO NOT see any such attack at least until after the election next November. If terrorists do commit some sort of attack similar to 9/11 that would again solidify the country around GW as he has proven to be a "take charge" leader. Terrorist's long term goals would be more easily achieved if the U.S. becomes complacent and believes we are again safe from terrorist attacks and elects a democrat.
No disrespect to anyone out there, I just feel more comfortable knowing we have a leader in office with experiene dealing with the global war on terrorism.
