Default So close but no 13's for me

Well I when down to the track friday night. I was sure I’d be running in the 13's with the cool air. I went down for the first time ever about 3 weeks ago, I made three runs then, the best was 14.24 at 94.87mph, it was running really rich and the timing was low. So this trip down I’d thought 13's for sure with it being a lot colder out. The track was pretty busy, so I only made 3 runs again, first run was 14.155 at 94.61 and the last run was 14.072 at 95.90mph 2.069 60'. I’m having problems with the maf sensor getting heat soaked in the staging lines and giving false iat readings (115-125f vs actual outside temp of 54f) I think thats whats screwing up the tuning. I still suprised a lot of people, I guess its because the truck looks all stock. There were two SRT10s there and my buddys told me they both stopped and watched me run, they were running mid 13's.

very nice times for how mild your setup is. the torque of the 6.0L is nice though isn't it.

I always thought that if one had a RCSB with a 6.0, stall, cam, exhaust, tune, a decent 60 foot time, that it should be in the mid 13's NA no problem. Then the other day, I forget who was questioning about being able to hang with a stock camaro and I said they run about the same time-mid 13's, as that set up. Everyone else was saying no, that if the truck wasnt in the mid 12's then something is wrong; because that is what slowprocess runs in his similiar set up. Now Im confused

My truck is very mild compared to slowprocess's and mine is 4wd and a fleetside so its like 600-800 lbs heavier.

I think I should be in the 13's but I haven't gotten the tuning right for the strip yet, it works greats on the street, but at the track it always runs really rich, and the false iat readings pull out a lot of timing.
