Smoothing a truck intake manifold?

i misread what you were wanting to do, but to polish plastic, you sand it using course sandpaper and work your way to fine, then get a buffer, or buffing wheel with the right compound until its shiny. you wont need a real harsh paper to start with fyi.

trying to port and polish the truck intake is absolutely ignorant..wow you can port 1 inch up the runners

I "believe" there just doing the outside, to make it look a little nicer under there hood.

Yep, no inside work... just checking into smoothing the outside for looks only. I am rerouting my main engine harness and getting rid of the Vortec cover that hides that rats nest anyway

Na... just cleaning up the engine bay. I do have a T66 on order though I wish I could afford to do twins...

Thats ok once you get tired of your single kit you can sell it to me to fund twins Even though I dont have anything to put it on anymore but Ill figure out something.
