Default smoking the lights.

I posted this over in the Show and Shine, but I figure it'll get more visibility here...

I am thinking about smoking all the lights on my truck, using the 80% clear, 20% black mixture that I've heard about. I have a few questions...

Do you have to scuff the plastic on the lights? I am inclined to think that would decrease the clarity (i know, so does blacking them)

Is a urethane based paint the best, or is there something better? Looking for something that will bond with the plactic.

Is it smart to paint the fronts? (I plan on putting some lights behind the grill for driving at night)

Here is a link showing how I candied my tails. There is also another link in my first post. If you want to smoke them just use VHT Nightshades instead of the Testors candy apple red.

How to smoke or candy tailights.

Have fun!!!!
