Hey guys want to do a engine build only looking to make around 600 horsepower in going to do it with forced induction because the truck is a dd and it also spins a lot of times in the woods idealing around while hunting. I no bother platforms is plenty capable of my level of performance. I don't want a motor that's gonna run hot while putting around which platform would you go with and why?

 

Single 5.3 will make 600 all day

 

5.3 easy.

 

Turbo 5.3. More power for the same money. Pop it, and you can have a replacement tomorrow for $500

I'd go with a billet BW S369. I'm working on messing with a s366 on my 5.3 69 c-10 but that Billet 369 seems to be a hell of a little turbo. Would spool really well on a 5.3. Guys are running them as twins and making 12-1400ish

 

Twins are a huge waste of money for that power level
