My fiance has an 01 gt, 5-speed, cat-back, cai, and 3.73s. If he can shift, he'll win. But I bet he will miss the 2-3 so....take it to the track.

 

my 04' RCSB 5.3 w 3.73's would toast a 99gt with only volant and corsa tuned with HPP3.

Yeah, take it to the track....more factors that will favor your way...r/t him and hope the added pressure makes him mess up driving. If you do street make sure it's marked off and make it clear where the race is over because he's going to come around you.

 

with your mods right now. i'd be in the same boat as everyone else, if he doesn't know how to drive a manual very well you might have a chance. BUT if he indeed does know how to shift, you're screwed.
definately get a higher stall torque converter and put those gears in. the muffler wont do **** IMO. it'll sound cooler when you beat em
