Default Should I buy '07 Silverado or wait for the '08's?

I want a new silverado crew cab. I test drove one the other day at lone star chevy in houston and was impressed as hell. im tired of my 2500HD and want something new.

Should I wait for the 08's to come out and the price of 07's to drop or will it make a diffrence? how long before they come out? any ideas? any 07 owners?

thanks in advanced guys.

Jerry

prices usually wont start dropping till the last couple months of the year if your willing to wait yeah o for but then it is sometimes hard to find what your looking for i say do some real good wheelin and dealin start off by working with cars direct.com or if you are confident in your negotiating skills go to the dealership and offer them 100 bucks over invoice and then if their offering and type of rebates have them add them on from there if it is a good dealership theyll show you the invoice if you ask...

They released the 08 info already. There's not really any major changes. You can no longer order an 07. Around here there aren't much discounts on the RC's but there's a few thousand off the upper ones. I guess I would wait until they start getting the 08's.

Invoice pricing is usually what they get the truck for minus a 2.5% holdback for dealers. I get invoice pricing atleast when I buy trucks.

Have you driven a new 2500HD yet? I want to see how the new 6.0/6L90 combo runs before I buy another 1500.

Lone Star Chevy should be pretty easy to deal with, they only have like 500 trucks on the lot.
