Whats the most common DR run around here 26-28"???
Welllllll since im 4wd im thinkin about getting a set of shorter tires for an extra set of wheels..
They would be a cheap set of z rated tires since i would only run them a few times a year..
Im running a 255/75/17 (32ish") rite now but want to get some opinion's on running a 30" and smaller tire..
FWIW i had a set of 245/45/17's on the truck one time for ***** and giggles and even tho i didnt retune for the different size it def was faster
Should i just get 2 DR's or a set of 4 short tires???

Gear ratio will affect tire diameter choice. 3.73=26" tire, 4.10=28" tire, at least for most guys at the track that's what I've seen(when I was paying attention).
Personally I'd go with 4 tires. GM engineers advised us that only 1/4 inch of difference in rolling circumference will eat the clutches out of the auto-trac t-cases, even if driving in 2 wheel drive. We were told that lack of tire rotations was going to eat them.
