I believe those numbers are possible. If he's running dual power adders on a 4.8 more might be possible. Especially if he has rods and lifters. I must've been close to those numbers with my 4.8 at 11-12lbs with meth and 16*, given my trap speed and I even had pieces of ring missing.

To be honest with you, he can continue to say whatever number he wants, as long as he goes thru with the sale of those tips and rollpan.

Its Not Impossible To Make 500hp With A 4.8.too Many People Underestimate The Baby Of The Gm Iii.the Guys Over At Magnuson Tested A 08' 4.8 Stock-it Threw 235 Hp To The Rear Wheels,after The Maggy Install,it Threw 356hp.add Full Bolt-ons,pulley Swap, With Cam And Meth.

Well, now I am pretty convinced he isnt making that kind of power. At first he states 510hp/516tq. After checking him on his numbers and asking for a graph(have yet to see one), he reversed his numbers saying he had them backwards. On his latest post, he is now back to 510 hp. Here is his statements:

im sorry i had those numbers backwords 516 hp and 510 torque iv ran it gulf port a couple of times and i can never get it to hook up i allways smokem down the 1/8th and run around 13.7 and 14.3 i want to get slicks but with the regency i have to have a 17in rim or bigger because of the rotters

every thing on the top end has been worked or changed
the bottem end is stock ... there is no point to mess with the bottem end just because i can go with a 6.0 and get more safer numbers out of it for the money

got the 4.8 and i like it the 5.3 only has like 15 or 20 more hp stock over a 4.8 pluse every time i pop my hood every body thinks its a 5.3 and all i can say is nope its a 4.8 with 510 hp i like it but then again i dont do anny towing with it if you do towing i would go for the 5.3

No one thinks its a 5.3 when they look under the hood because they can obviously see that his rods are longer and that they're knew.

You know what, he posted a video of his truck and it does run good. His trap speed does suggest that it could run faster. We may all be wrong about his truck. He may not spell good and his numbers might not be right, but his truck does run well. Still not convinced on his posted numbers until I see a dyno graph, but I have talked with him thru PMs and he seems like a good guy. Heres the video.
