Default RST and towing?

I have a 04 Sierra RST RCSB and my buddy is selling a 6x10 aluminum v-nose covered trailer for a great price. I am just curious I dont see any reason why my truck couldnt handle the trailer. All that would be in it are a few quads and a tool box. But it is a 9 hour ride for me to get the trailer here. Also my truck dosnt have a hitch but I should be able to use one off of a regualr sierra correct. Thanks

i would make sure you have a class 3 hitch not just a bumper hitch and yes your truck will pull it just fine

my truck pulled a 6,000 lb. ++ (i dont know exact weight but making guess) non v-nose covered trailer 60 mi. roundtrip everyday for about three years i have v6 base silverado without tow package we (dad and i) put a reese class III hitch on it and wired up the 7-pin harness and brake controller no problems yet (doesnt pull anymore he got a dmax) but i did get 10mpg with tow/haul on and in 3rd

A hitch setup like that one wont have any clearance issues with my roll pan correct.

no not really clearance problems but this will sit below the roll pan and wont exactly look the best
