Default ROLL PAN HELP!!!

I bought a Sir Michaels roll pan and I'm trying to install it, but i am having some problems. It says to install the #8 screws supplied to mount the top part of the pan. How do I put the scres in, do i drill a little hole in the bed or do i use a starter punch and screw them through the metal of the bed. Any quick help would be great <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
