yea safe and clear is ridiculous.....its not like that many people are going to break down and that space on the shoulder is not going to be hard to find a spot...why dont they just put meters on the shoulder so when you break down you can keep adding quarters to keep your spot

lol, I know what you mean. I can't even get a jack under the front of my truck, and if I did, it wouldn't fit under the frame. I have to drive it up on some homemade ramps and then jack it up. I need to put the spare back in my truck, started making a mount and then just kinda stopped, but I do take it with me on long hauls.

I really like the looks of the Custom Classics stamped steel roll pan. And you can't beat the price I think they are only like 110

Got my Sir Michael's today and dropped it and the truck off at the painter's. Pan is sturdy and clean.
Painter is charging me $250 (plus i give him my stock bumper) to bolt it in and fab some small brackets for the ends to bolt in to keep it from vibrating. Sound about right?
Next, shaved door handles. Can I wire the solenoids to activate with the stock GM remote?
What's a reasonable rate for install/Paint for shaving the doors, relocating the gate handle to the inside?
