Retro-fit headlights
Has anyone done this yet to a cat eye yet? I'd like to put hids in it but if they have a horrible glare or make the range poor I don't see the point doing it.

Here's one I did with mini h1 6.0
Open up lights with butter knives and heat, then cut hole
This is a plumbing escucheon from home depot that fit the backside perfect, and I cut a slit for the hi beam solenoid wiring
OEM gasket cut to fit
The gasket was not installed in the picture, but it makes the back of the light look OEM again
You have to cut the bracket so it fits
Not shown - I had to grind the underside of the radiator cross beam to let the lights be installed, otherwise the actual bulb plug and harness would hit it and not let the light seat. Another thing is I usually had to remove the grill to get the headlights out, but not that much work since you don't remove headlights very often...

I used to have them in my scion and they didn't have the range, granted I was an idiot and went cheap. then my rsx had them some decent ones and they didn't seem that powerful and the glare was horrible.

yeah, I found out why they are cheap, they are junk like most ebay stuff is. If never seen really any retro-fits, granted it's not cheap.
