Default Rear bumper ?

Alright, so the rear bumper of my 2000 Silverado is crushed in on the pass. side from plowing and I'm looking for a new one. Mines the "chrome" one but they are stupid expensive at the dealer. Where's a good place to get these and what do they run? Found a local guy selling a stock gray one that's a bit rusty for cheap and was kinda thinking about stripping it down to bare metal and maybe spraying clearcoat over it to keep it from rusting again but still have the "shiny" look of the chrome one. Would this work well?

No bare metal with clear will look just like that, def ***, well unless your looking for a custom look. I give you the best of luck on getting one.. I looked and looked and looked, for a good while, then finally one popped up, happened to be local to me.. Keep your eyes on ebay.. But i will tell you your going to be hard pressed to find a freaking perfect one for what we think is a good deal.. I was fortunete and got a really nice one for under 100, but that was a freak... Post up in the classys that your looking.. Good luck
