Default rear brakes has strong smell.

I have disk brake all around.

all calipers move free.

I just did all the brake pads, and rotors.

did not replace the inside pads for parking brake.

i have a feeling that my parking brakes are dragging and causeing my brakes to heat up a lot and cause the smell.

what i would like to know is if i can remove the parking brake pads, and the little actuator that is suppose to spread the pads.

im not sure if it is part of the breaking system since all i see is a cable and no hydraulics line going to it.

anybody else have this problem??
