I have a scraping noise from my rear brakes that isn't the pads or the e-brake shoes....the backing plates are so rusted on mine that they're rubbing the inside of the rotor. I massaged some of the rust off twice and the noise has returned. The right rear backing plate is actually rusted through.
(I did have the ebrake clips brake and the shoes rub once already though)

That's exactly how I felt before I fixed it! It's so much more fun to drive when you don't have to hold your hand over your face in shame everytime you go through an intersection! lol.
