I went to the local 1/8th strip last night, there was a 72 Chevy pickup that ran a 6.02, 6.01 and 5.99 ALL MOTOR!! That truck was sweet, looked and sounded awesome, I have a pic on my camera phone, I will try to post when I get home. Needless to say it was strictly a dragster. It had some kind of cusom built big block out of Indinapolis. I know it was not an LSX, but it was a killer truck.. There was also a Ford, Harley Edition Crew Cab that was running 8.5's. I was really impressed even though it was a Ford. That seemed really fast for that big of a truck.

 

i like the 68-73 model trucks. i looked at one before my truck that had a built 496 and a built turbo 400 it would run in the 11's like it was and could be in the 10's with some suspension work and bigger slicks
