RCSB K1500 Brake Upgrade options?
#1
As the title states, I'm looking for options.
I have a 1990 K1500 4x4 with factory drum brakes. I'm saving up for an LS swap next summer, but of course upgrading brakes is always a good idea.
Best options for the money?

This is something I plan to do in the near future myself in my 95' I plan to BOOST the LQ9 before long and know better brakes are a must.
I've heard the 3/4ton calipers/rotors are a direct swap. Also doing the hydroboost swap will help along with braided lines. You could also do a rear disc conversion but depends on how much you want to spend.
I think just doing the few things I mentioned would make a HUGE difference and shouldn't cost a fortune either.

3/4 ton stuff is 8 lug...
Hydroboost helps a bunch!!
Onlything ive ever swapped drum to disk is my Samurai. I used 1998 Front rotors on the rear and Monte Carlo calipers.

There are ''light'' duty 3/4 tons that are 6 lug. Should have mentioned that

My local junk yard actually has one with a 14 bolt I've been thinking about picking up to swap.
