I think that'll be awesome! But, I just can't fathom selling my '02 and taking a loss, just to spend more money on getting a new one. I plan on paying mine off and get a new LQ9 crate motor, a 4L65E, getting the new '06 clip (same as the '05 HD), and getting an SS bumper cover and make my own. Just my opinion.

And if you notice, the 6.0 has a footnote: Requires 1500 models equipped with either Vortec Max Performance Pack or Performance Edition

And then the Vortec Max Performance Pack has a footnote: Requires 1500 Extended Cab Standard Box or Crew Cab Short Box models.

And the Performance Edition has a footnote: 1500 Extended Cab Standard Box 2WD.

So according to this a 6.0 cannot be had in regular cab configuration.

A 6.0 as an option and the SSR's get an LS2? Also, why would they put it in front of the 4l60e?

Sorry, I changed it. I was thinking the LS2 was a 5.7 but I was thinking about the LS1. My fault.

there is no LS2 using a 4L60E. the auto LS2's use the 65E and for 06' and up will be a 70E.
