Not to take sides or talk trash but..lite i thought you almost sold your car to get one of those hondas.. I think it would probably be a good race with the honda if you are spraying... He has slips for 13.2's so i dunno how the race would go especially because traction would be a big problem for the truck

On the subject of our race the other night i was still confused..i raced the taurus again and got completly smoked so i was like WTF. I went back and watched the video of us again and relized that i wasn't losing any traction at all which was very wierd especially since i usually have the opposite problem.. after that i started to go through my car because it was just running like ****...I sonn relized that i had pulled the maf off and removed the pcv that goes into the intake.. i replaced the maf but didn't tighten the screws which caused it to have a leak...i also forgot to replace the breather tube altogether which was throwing the a/f off because the air entering wasn't being read through the maf.. I fixed those 2 problems that i had forgot about because im mentally retarded. I then replaced my exhaust manifold gaskets because i had exhaust leaks.. after all my work i decided to race the taurus and i was once again side by side.... after staying side by side with the taurus i went to call lite but his phone was off...o well we will have to race again but just thought i would share some of my dumbass problems..and hopefully lite won't talk **** and say you will just get beat again or something like that and will just race...btw no n20 is going to be involved this time either

 

rc, the races were all in good fun. i didnt want to get techincal about it or anything. but if u look at the video again, the sho didnt pull me till 15-16secs through the race(past the 1/4mile). so lets say for the hell of it we tied. now if i raced him 15 more times.. isnt it possible i could of won? just like u tied him a few times. this is what i mean when i say "fluke"


...when i lose races, it motivates me to mod my truck more and make it faster, it doesnt motivate me to look for excuses

 

I agree with what you are saying... I wasn't looking for excuses just problems because i know our race should be a lot closer..

 

when you feel like modding your truck just PM me hyperlite....il give u some "motivation"

dont know why u keep insisting they should be closer. anyone on here knows the new vortecs are faster, its been discussed quite a few times. no secret

 

how fast you go depends on the mods you have...the topic is always discussed on stock to stock cars...and there is no way i can argue that the early gen vortecs are better on a forum that has only new gen vortec owners weither its true or not....

 

i think someones been on fsc.com a little too much. that place is just swarming with bs
