Default Radix or Airbags

If I had the bags done by Ekstensive, I figure the cost of the two is about the same...

- Radix -
Pros : more power = more fun, I can install it myself but if I choose to pay an ASE tech to install it I get the drivetrain warranty

Cons : probably break the tranny eventually and I dont think I'd get the optional drivetrain warranty if I were to use Nelson tuning instead of the radix tuning (plus I'd probably get a smaller pulley ), factory GM drivetrain warranty is out the window. Theres always a risk of breaking something throughout the drivetrain

- Airbags -
Pros : Lower ride height + better ride, looks good, be able to raise up the front to avoid steep driveways/curbs/water in road.

Cons : Truck would probably be in the shop for a month (I'm guessing), and it would still be kinda slow. Tank takes up room in the bed (although it would probably hold more weight)

I'm leaning towards the Radix just because I want a fast truck again, but I dont want the stress of having constant problems. I want to know my truck can drive a 6 hour trip with no problems (btw, what does the radix do for gas mileage )

I dont care to break any records or be the fastest out there, but I want to be pushed back in my seat. And as far as all the other chargers out there, I want the one that would be the easiest, thorough, and most reliable (Radix )

Airbags would be more of a 'stress free', smooth riding, looking good type of thing....and I could probably put in a cam for a little more power

I'm about 55/45 on the decision at this point - give me your opinions

dude, ...

GET THE RADIX!!!

your truck is already slammed, and looks ******* badass..

plus.. i know a guy here locally who has airbags and alot of "show" ****, and he says its a pain to keep up with junk.. broken lines, leaking bags, etc.

you can be all show, no go?

or you can be show and haul f'kn ***!

I say keep the drop, and get the blower.

id go blower!!! ive had both air bags and blowers. bags are cool when you dont have them. id never bag a daily driver agin. too much b.s.air leaks, broken air lines, compressors taking a crap on you. if its a show truck and your not worried about reliablity get bags but if you want somthing to drive everyday id get a blower. everytime you hit the gas youll love it

yeah, I figure the answer over here is going to be Radix, and on GMFS its going to be bags

I figured the bags would be pretty reliable if done at Ekstensive, but now that I think of it, there are tons of fittings and places to have leaks, so that would suck to have to maintain

and yes, this is my daily driver

Radix!

Bags a lame IMO. I see all these kids trying their best to look smooth rollin by my shop with their hats sideways or with headbands al'a Nelly style.

I'm like yeah cool, your truck goes up and down really fast. Mine goes forward really fast

it doesnt matter who does it, i had one of the best shops in cal bag and body drop my truck. the work was great but fittings, compressors, bags all will fail on you and believe me it sure does suck. my buddie popped a bag in the front going about 60mph whole front of the truck hit the ground couldnt stop and steer and went over a center divider.
