Default rack and pinion steering

I'm trying to convert from steering gear box to rack and pinion on a full size jeep. Can anyone tell me if any full size chey trucks, Suburbans or Tahoes, (preferably 4x4) use racks?

Exclamation

I'm not sure there would be any difference between 2/4 wheel drive....

Thanks for that info.

I'm po'd with myself because I ordered what was called a "gear rack" on flee bay for 2006 Tahoe...got it today...guess what...it is a "gear box". I intend to express my disatisfaction to the vender. I think that is a very misleading description.
